Ingredients: 

5 large, round apples
150 grams (5 1/2 oz) walnuts, pounded into crumbs
150 grams (5 ½ oz) raisins
1 tablespoon cinnamon
100 grams (3 ½ oz) sugar
1 small glass brandy

Cooking Directions: 

- Wash the apples. Remove their cores as well as some of their pulp. 
- In a bowl, mix the walnuts, the raisins, the sugar and the brandy. Place the apples in a pan and stuff them with the mix you have pre¬pared. 
- Sprinkle them with the cinnamon and bake them in a medium oven for about 45 minutes.
- Remove the apples from the oven, let them cool and serve them with their own syrup or with whipped cream and cherries.
