5 portions chicken
200 grams (7 oz) mushrooms, quartered
200 grams (7 oz) small onions, peeled 
1 glass red wine
1 teacup olive oil
Salt
Pepper

Cooking Directions: 

- Heat the oil in a pot and brown the chicken for about 10 minutes.
- Pour in the wine, add the vegetables, salt and pepper and the appropriate amount of water. Cook over a medium fire for about an hour and a half. 
- Check the pot, while cook¬ing, and add water, if needed. Serve hot as a second course.
