Preparation Time: 

1 ½ kilos (3 lbs 6 oz) beef
1 kilo green olives (2 lbs 4 oz)
3 ripe tomatoes, finely diced
1-2 onions, finely chopped
1 teacup olive oil
1 glass red wine

Cooking Directions: 

- Wash and strain the meat and cut it into small pieces (2 pieces per serving). 
- Heat the oil in a pot and saute the onion. Add the meat and allow it to saute for five minutes while stirring.
- Pour in the red wine, add the tomatoes, salt, pepper and the olives (they have been pitted and scalded).
- Add some water and allow all to boil for about 2 hours over a medium fire. Serve hot.
