4 tablespoons white wine
1 large carrot, sliced
1 large onion, sliced
1 bay leaf
Mayonnaise sauce (link)
- Boil the carrot, onion and bay leaf in a small amount of water for about 15 minutes adding the wine, salt and pepper.
- Add the shrimps and let them boil on low heat for 7 minutes.
- Remove the pot from the fire and let shrimps cool.
- Strain and peel them and serve them dressed with mayonnaise sauce.
