Broiled (grilled) mushrooms with vinaigrette

2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ teaspoon crushed garlic
1 teaspoon mixed dried herbs, such as thyme, marjoram and rosemary
1 Lb 2 oz (500 g) oyster mushrooms, cut into pieces
Salt
Pepper
FOR THE VINAIGRETTE
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
3-4 teaspoons honey
- Combine the olive oil, garlic, and herbs in a bowl and brush the mushrooms with the mixture. Let marinate for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, put all the vinaigrette ingredients into a sealed jar, fasten the lid and shake until thoroughly blended.
- Preheat the broiler (grill). Broil (grill) the mushrooms for 5 minutes on each side.
- Transfer to a serving plate. Sprinkle with the vinaigrette and serve hot or at room temperature.
