Ingredients: 

2lbs flour
2oz. yeast
2/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon ground muhlep
4 eggs
Almond finely chopped 
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
Half cup sugar
 

Cooking Time: 
40 minutes
Cooking Directions: 

- Dissolve the yeast in a bowl with the lukewarm milk, add a cup of flour and stir until the mixture forms a thick paste.
- Leave to rise for about one hour.
- Add the sugar, mahlep, salt, butter and three eggs followed by the flour, knead well, cover and leave to rise.
- Knead the dough again and place in a buttered baking dish.
- Leave covered to rise in a warm place.
- Brush the dough with the beaten yolk of the fourth egg, sprinkle with the chopped almonds and bake in a preheated oven at 400oF for 40 minutes.
