Fried lamb in vinegar

Preparation Time: 

1 leg of lamb, sliced
1 teacup vinegar
2-3 spoonfuls flour
Half glass oil for frying
2 spoonfuls butter
4-5 cloves garlic

Cooking Directions: 

- Pound the lamb sliccs with a pestle. Wash and strain them. 
- Coat them with flour and fry them on both sides in a mixture of half the butter and half the oil for frying. 
- When the meat slices are done, put them in a pot and leave them aside.
- Filter the remains of the oil and butter being careful to omit any burnt sediment. 
- Pour in the vinegar (which contains a spoonful of flour), the finely chopped garlic and season to taste. 
- Cook until the sauce thickens up, pour in over the lamb and bring the pot to the boil. Be carcful to avoid sticking. (Shake from time to time). 
- Add a slight amount of water. Serve hot with fried potatoes.
