1 kilo (2 lbs 3 oz) green peas 
200 grams (7oz) small onions
2-3 spring onions
2 tablespoons finely- chopped dill 
1 ½ teacups olive oil

Cooking Time: 
Cooking Directions: 

- In a pot, saute the onions in the oil, until transparent. 
- Add the peas (cleaned and washed, in case they are fresh), the dill, salt, pepper, and some water and let these boil on medium heat for about 25 minutes. 
- Serve either warm or cold as a first course. 
- This dish also accompanies grilled or sauteed meat
