700 grams (1 lb 9 oz) Gruyere cheese
250 grams (9 oz) butter
3 eggs
500 grams (1 lb 2 oz) milk

Pastry
3 teacups flour
1 teacup yoghurt
5 tablespoons butter
Salt
Water (if needed)

Cooking Directions: 

- Prepare the pastry (adding a teacup yoghurt) and roll out the dough into four pastry leaves («fylla»). 
- Butter a pan, lay one pastry leaf onto it, brush it with butter and sprinkle grated Gruyere cheese all over its surface.
 - Lay a second leaf, sprinkle it with cheese again and then a third one exactly the same way as the preceding ones, brushing each sheet with melted butter.
- Finally lay the fourth sheet of pastry, brush it with butter and with the help of a sharp knife make incisions on this top layer.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs, stir in the milk and pour over the pie. - Bake it in a medium oven, until it looks golden brown.
