Lamb and macaroni

1 1/2 kilo (3 lbs 6 oz) lamb
1 kilo macaroni (no 3) (2 lbs 4 oz) 
2-3 ripe tomatoes, diced
1 teacup oil
1 glass red wine
1 clovc garlic
1 teacup grated cheese

Cooking Directions: 

- Heat the oil in a pot and saute the onions. Cut the meat into small pieces (2 pieces = 1 serving).
- Place it in the pot along with the onions and saute all for 5- 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Next add the red wine, the tomatoes, the garlic and the salt and pepper. 
- Cook over a low fire for approximately 2 hours. Boil the macaroni (not too much), and serve them alongside the lamb. 
- Pour sauce from the pot over the macaroni and sprinkle with grated cheese.
