Preparation Time: 

1 ½ kilos (3 lbs 6 oz) lamb
1 ½ kilos (3 lbs 6 oz) asparagus
1 teacup olive oil
2 onions, finely diced
1 lemon
1 tablespoon cornflour

Cooking Directions: 

- Wash and strain the lamb and cut it into portions. Saute it in scalding oil with the onions, until they turn golden.
- Add some water and continue cooking until the lamb is half done. Prepare and wash the asparagus. Scald them in boiling water; strain them and add them to the lamb. 
- Season with salt and cook over a low fire until the lamb and the asparagus are done.
- Remove the pot from the fire. Take a teacup of broth form the pot. Squeeze the juice of one lemon into the broth and add the cornflour. 
- Return the broth to the pot and shake the pot a few times. Place the pot over the fire again for 2-3 minutes and sea son with pepper.
- Serve as soon as the sauce thickens
