1 1/2 kilos (3 lbs 6 oz) lamb
1 onion, sliced
300 grams (10 oz) almonds, crushed
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon flour
2 lemons
2 tablespoons sugar
800 grams (1 lb 12 oz) plums 

Cooking Time: 
1 hour and 30 minutes
Cooking Directions: 

- Wash the lamb, strain and cut it into small portions. Place the meat portions in a bowl, add salt and pepper, the onion and the juice of one lemon and marinate for an hour.
- Drain the lamb and saute it in a pot with butter. 
- Next, add the flour to the pot and stir with a wooden spoon. Add a small amount of water and the liquid from the bowl. 
- Cook over a medium fire. When the lamb is half cooked, add the almonds and the plums. 
- Cover the pot and continue cooking on low heat, until the meat and the plums are done. 
- Finally, add the sugar and the juice of the other lemon. 
Serve hot.
