2lbs mussels
1 wineglass ouzo
3 cloves garlic, sliced
2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
1 teacup olive oil
Salt
Pepper

Cooking Directions: 

- Wash the mussels very well.
- In a pot sauté the garlic in the oil.
- Add the mussels, the parsley and 1 wine glass ouzo (do not use any water), salt and pepper.
- Cover the pot tightly and boil for 10 minutes
- Serve hot as an appetizer or a main dish.
