1lb ground beef
2 cups rice
6 cups water
1 onion, grated
Half cup wine
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
2 tablespoons tomato paste

Cooking Time: 
30-40 minutes
Cooking Directions: 

- Place the butter and the grated onion in a saucepan and sauté until the onion has turned white.
- Add the ground beef and sauté until brown, stirring continuously.
- Pour in the wine and stir,
- Add the tomato paste, 1.5 cups of water, salt and pepper.
- Add the finely chopped parsley into the saucepan.
- Cook the meat until it has absorbed the juice.
- Pour 4.5 cups of lightly salted water into another saucepan and cook the rice.
- When the rice is ready, remove from the heat, cover with a towel and leave for five minutes.
- Spoon into a rice mold, turn out onto a platter, pour over the meat sauce and serve.
