Ingredients: 

1 hare, 1 ½ kilos approximately (3 lbs 6 oz), 5 portions
Half kilo (1 lb 2 oz) carrots 
Half kilo (1 lb 2 oz) mushrooms 
1 teacup olive oil
1 wine glass red wine
1 clove garlic
1 ripe tomato, finely diced
2 onions, finely diced
Salt
Pepper
 

Cooking Time: 
1 hour and 40 minutes
Cooking Directions: 

- Heat the oil in a pot and lightly saute the onions over a medium fire.
- Next, add the portions of hare and saute for 10 more minutes, until the meat is golden brown. 
- Pour in the red wine; add the tomato, the garlic, the carrots (scraped and cut in round slices), the mushrooms, salt and pepper and let everything boil for about an hour and a half. 
When there is only a little sauce left in the pot, the food will be ready. Serve hot.
