Ingredients: 

10oz. tender vine leaves 
1.5 cups rice
3 large onions, finely chopped
2 lemons
2 tablespoons mint, finely chopped
Half cup dill, finely chopped
1 cup olive oil
Salt
Pepper

Cooking Time: 
about 1 hour
Cooking Directions: 

- Wash the vine leaves; boil for 2 minutes in plenty of water and drain.
- In a bowl mix the chopped onions, dill, mint, rice, half the oil, salt and pepper.
- Mix well and onto each vine leaf place one tablespoon for stuffing.
- Fold the edges of the leaf into the middle and make into a roll-shape (dolmades).
- Carefully place the dolmades in a saucepan, packing them tightly one against the other.
- Sprinkle with the lemon juice, the remaining oil, salt and pepper and enough water to cover them completely.
- Place an upturned plate on top to weigh them down and prevent from opening up during cooking.
- Cover the saucepan and simmer for one hour, until they have absorbed nearly all the liquid.
- Serve hot or cold.
