Roast veal with pasta

3lbs saddle
1lb barley-shaped pasta
2lbs tomatoes, mashed
Half cup hard cheese, grated
6 cups water
Half cup olive oil

Cooking Time: 
2 hours and 20 minutes
Cooking Directions: 

- Sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper, brush with oil and place in a roasting dish.
- Add the tomatoes and roast in the oven at 350oF for about 2 hours, until it is well cooked on all sides.
- Remove from the dish and add the hot water.
- Place the roasting dish back in the oven and as soon as the water boil add the barley-shaped pasta and stir very well. Leave to cook for about 20 minutes.
- Cut the meat into portions and place it back into the roasting dish.
- Stir well and serve while is still hot and sprinkle with grated cheese.
