Stewed green beans and potatoes

1 kilo (2 lbs 4oz) green beans
2 medium sized potatoes
3-4 ripe tomatoes, finely- chopped
2 garlic cloves
2 tablespoons, finely chopped parsley
2-3 onions, finely chopped
1 ½ teacups olive oil

Cooking Time: 
Cooking Directions: 

- Using a sharp knife, top and tail the green beans, cut off their edges and slice them it two, lengthwise. 
- Saute the onions and garlic cloves in the oil, in a pot, until transparent. Wash and strain the beans. 
- Add them to the pot and let them saute for five minutes, stirring con¬stantly.
- Then add the potatoes, (peeled and sliced), the tomatoes, and the parsley, salt and pepper, the required amount of about half an hour on medium heat, or any other kind of water and let everything cook for 
- Serve either hot or cold with Feta cheese.
