Half lb tomatoes, mashed
2 onions, finely chopped
3 carrots, grated
3 springs of celery
3 tablespoons butter
- In a saucepan, sauté the chopped onion in the butter.
- As soon as it softens, add the meat and the grated carrots.
- Sauté the meat on all sides, add the mashed tomatoes, celery, salt and pepper.
- Stir well, cover and simmer the food until the meat is soft.
- Serve cut into slices, pouring the sauce over the meat.
- Serve with pilaf or pasta or fried potatoes.
